Meet Dr. Bruno Mucci

Chiropractor. Movement educator. Built for active people who want to understand what's happening in their body — and have a clear way back.

Philosophy

Diagnosis Before Treatment. Always.

The work starts with a thorough assessment. Where is the pain coming from? What's the movement story behind it? What's the realistic timeline for recovery? You shouldn't leave the first visit unsure of any of that.

From there, treatment is a combination of hands-on chiropractic care and exercise-based rehabilitation — because the change has to hold beyond the treatment room. The goal isn't just less pain. It's confident, durable return to the things you came in for.

Dr. Mucci practices in Leamington at Advanced Wellness Centre and serves patients across Windsor-Essex County.

Team Affiliations & Sport Coverage

Working on the Sidelines, Not Just in the Clinic

Embedded experience with competitive teams shapes the practice. The day-to-day demands of an in-season athlete inform how I assess, treat, and program return to play.

Primary Affiliation

Tecumseh United Football Club

I serve as a chiropractor and rehabilitation provider for Tecumseh United Football Club, working with players from competitive youth through adult levels. The role covers the full athletic-care spectrum:

  • In-season injury management — sideline and post-match assessment, acute care decisions, and weekly load monitoring across the squad.
  • Pre-season screening — movement and load-tolerance screens to identify athletes carrying capacity deficits before they become injuries.
  • Return-to-play programming — phased, criteria-based progressions for soft-tissue injuries (hamstring, calf, groin), ligamentous sprains, and post-concussion return.
  • Coaching and player education — load management conversations with players and staff so the recovery framework is shared, not just clinical.

What Team Coverage Teaches

Practice Shaped by the Real Demands

Working with an active competitive team changes how you treat. A few of the principles that carry into clinic work with every patient:

  • Time matters. Athletes can't always afford 12 weeks off. The plan has to be efficient — and honest about what's realistic.
  • Load is the lever. Most overuse injuries are load-management problems. The acute:chronic workload framework (Gabbett, BJSM) applies in clinic too.
  • Criteria, not calendars. Return-to-activity decisions are based on what an athlete can demonstrate — strength symmetry, hop tests, controlled sport-specific work — not just elapsed time.
  • Communication is care. The athlete, the coach, the family, and the rehab team have to be aligned. Same principle applies to every patient's recovery.
